It’s one thing to really want to go back to when one plane gets multiple sets dedicated to just it. It’s another to now see one set gets multiple planes crammed into it. Maybe feels justified considering we now only gets 3 in universe sets per year instead of 4, don’t pretend like it always has been, there’s total of, get this, 7 different years where this has been the case (guess which one).
Well technically this one doesn’t really came about such a cynical need and moreso just a want of a set about Vehicles. Weird they thought of that first before a set all about Equipments, or Auras, or stuff that existed way before 2016. After that, the theme of the race and the grand prix with 3 laps connected by omenpaths came to be and also with that the cynicism of this current tropey era of flavor design.

usually i whine about this card not using her plane’s frame design, but now i realized it could be worse
